Property Ladder

Having completed the renovation of the outside of a property in Birmingham, the delighted owner asked if I would be interested in working on a property in Newport (Gwent - South Wales), which was to be featured in an episode of Channel 4's Property Ladder?

Being a big fan of the programme I was flattered to be asked and although Hollywood Coatings do not normally seek jobs as far a field as South-Wales we agreed to take on the project.

The programme was eventually aired June 2009 featuring the house in Bristol which required much renovation including maintenance to the outside of the property and coating.

As is so often the case after many hours of filming the results shown on TV lasted only a few seconds.

In addition to the TV Film I also took a number of photos of the house at various stages of the job. For those of you with a keen eye for detail and a nervous disposition, since the picture of the back door with a twenty foot drop as you walk out was taken a wrought iron staircase has been added to the property!
